Daniel Rogers

Hey! I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and spent the last five years living in Bend, where I got my B.S. in Outdoor Products from OSU-Cascades. Fishing and boating have been my passions for as long as I can remember, and I feel privileged to be able to share my joy for the sport with others. In high school I built a wooden drift boat with my father that I used to fish the McKenzie river – my home waters. Fly fishing for native trout in the high lakes and small streams of the Western U.S. used to be my favorite type of fishing, however since joining ARA I have to admit that nothing can compare now to catching our wild Alaskan salmon on the fly.

When I’m not fishing I enjoy skiing, backpacking, traveling, climbing, and messing around in the great outdoors with friends and family. Working at the lodge has been an amazing experience for me because of the friendly vibe that Ryan has instilled in his company. I’m thrilled to meet you all, get you on some huge fish, and make some lifelong friends next season!
